This was on Lost Creek. I would have never known this was here if it hadn't been for this group.
I'm still trying to get the hang of it. I think I need to take a workshop on plein air painting. Practice, practice, practice.
It is absolutely beautiful here. I'm sure there are some pretty parts of Houston (where I live) but you really have to search them out. In Austin (and surrounding areas), any where you look is scenic. ( I may have already mentioned this but its worth mentioning again.)
This is a lady in the group doing water color. I'm still trying to get all the names down. I think it was Jane. Nice work.
I think it will be a couple more weeks before I can go out with them again.

Look like you are doing very well to me. As you say practice,practice and you will get there. Sometimes a workshop will only serve to stifle the artist drive within you because a particular viewpoint is expressed.
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who is part of the group and I am considering going along to the next one. As I haven't painted for a considerable length of time, I am somewhat nervous. Also I am not good with the heat. Hopefully by then the 100f+ heat will be history
